National Swedish Television's (SVT) new drama series in 6 parts written and directed by John O Olsson. Jakob Eklund and Sofia Pekkari
are the lead actors. Among the other cast you'll find Irina Björklund, Örjan Ramberg,
Rolf Lassgård and Lia Boysen.
The series main-theme song "När du var här" (When you were here) is composed by Johan Strömberg and Stefan Sporsén. Additional score is also produced by Apparat Studios.
The series is co-produced by Giraff Film, SVT, Filmpool Nord, Film in Västernorrland and the Finnish "Periferia Productions
OY". The series starts 27th of March 2006

The story is about Frank Tidman (Jakob
Eklund) who sells furniture in the north of Sweden. He is divorced and meets with his 16-year old daughter, Sanna (Sofia Pekkari), every other weekend. One sunday night when he is supposed to drive Sanna home to her mother, he gets an impulse to bring her along on one of his business-trips instead. They need,
as Frank claims, to talk to each other before it's too late. Sanna comes along after a little bit of persuasion on this journey through the north of Sweden. She meets some of Frank's old friends who used to have a Top40-band together.
The journey they make is also a journey through time as Frank tells the story of their family. |
