Stefan Sporsén

Stefan Sporsén has a wide range as a composer, inspired by his career as a musician. Grown up with classic music and jazz, and then walking thru electronica, pop and rock, he has been a part of many progressive collaborations and played with many of Sweden’s most famous pop/rock artists; notable in Håkan Hellström’s band and Augustifamiljen – but also Jens Lekman and José Gonsalez. He handles trumpet, horn and piano/keyboards.
Stefan is the main project manager at Apparat Studios. Through the years he has scored and supervised music for Swedish Television (SVT) drama series: “Kniven i hjärtat” (Prix Italia 2005), “En fråga om liv och död”, ”STHLM”, “Möbelhandlarens Dotter” (Guldklaven 2006). Theatre music includes work at Stockholms stadsteater, Göteborgs Stadsteater and Riksteatern.
2015 has seen the premiere of two scores at the movies where Sporséns music is heard: “Miraklet i Viskan” (part of original score) and ”Prästen i Paradiset” (Main composer in collaboration with all guys at Apparat)
